Joining the Board of the Jordanian Interior Design Association (JIDA)
Muna Taher joins the board of JIDA — the body representing Jordan's interior design profession — to help shape standards, education, and recognition for the practice locally and regionally.

The Jordanian Interior Design Association (JIDA) is the country's professional body for interior designers — a community of practitioners working to raise the standard of the craft, establish a clear identity for the profession, and build links between designers, manufacturers, and the public.
Joining the board is a chance to give back to the discipline that shaped my own training. The conversations at this level — about licensing, education curricula, fair pricing, and how the work is represented in the press — are the conversations that move the practice forward for everyone who comes next.

Alongside the wider board, the work is collaborative and long-term: position papers, exhibitions, mentorship initiatives, and the slow but worthwhile labour of holding the profession to a higher bar.
